Information systems and record keeping
Skills Queensland applies whole of government information legislation, policies and standards including the Information Standard 40 - IS40: Record keeping.
Consultancies and overseas travel
In the 2011-2012 financial year, Skills Queensland engaged two consultancies.
One consultant was engaged for consultation on the Skills Queensland Strategic Issues Paper. The second consultant was engaged for research.
The total cost of these consultants was $36,600.
In the 2011-2012 financial year, one Skills Queensland staff member, Peter Hagan, Director of Policy, Research and Innovation, Skills Queensland, undertook overseas travel. This travel was for a Australia and New Zealand School of Government Conference.
The travel and accommodation cost was $1413.88.
Corporate Governance Manual
Skills Queensland has an induction manual for new staff, as well as a performance development process, all of which are detailed in the Skills Queensland Corporate Governance Manual (PDF 695KB
).
