Peter leads strategic policy initiatives that support the development of a more flexible and responsive skills system in Queensland.
Peter brings to Skills Queensland more than 20 years experience in leadership roles as a labour economist with the Queensland Government. Prior to Skills Queensland, Peter led the Training and Skills Research Unit in the former Department of Education and Training; the Labour Market Research Unit in the former Department of Employment and Training; and the Employment Secretariat in Treasury's Office of Economic and Statistical Research.
Peter is a graduate of the Australian New Zealand School of Government.
